My limited hours of free time are over full with a variety of activities. I try to go hiking or climbing once a week, either solo or with
The Mountaineers (an exceptional organization) year round, to stay in decent shape. I also train at MKG in Boxing, Muay Thai, Kali, Jeet Kun Do and a variety
of other martial arts. It is a fantastic school with great people and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Less frequently, I try to mix things up with running stairs (usually in the months leading up to the Big Climb), kettlebells, CrossFit,
biking, kayaking, or running, getting as much as I can in as little time as possible.
And then there is camping with the family and friends. A surprise hti with everyone, we squeeze in as many trips as we can to National Parks, a great way to spend time with your kids.
